As a condition of enrolment with S.E.E.D.S, an initial membership fee to the co-operative of $1.00 is charged to all new families. Additionally, a non-refundable “holding fee” of $25.00 per child is charged once a childcare space has been confirmed. This holding fee will be applied towards your first payment of child care fees when you begin care with us.
Fees are due on the 15th of each month by pre-authorized debit. This monthly payment can be calculated by multiplying the daily rate for your child by the number of days your child is enrolled in the program that month. Where the 15th of the month falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the fees will be due on the following Monday. All parents receive a monthly statement of their account with the first week of the month – however, it is the parents’ responsibility to ensure their account is correct and paid on time. Statutory/Civic Holidays, Illness, Inclement Weather, etc.
Fees are charged on an enrolment basis. As expenditures for staff and operating costs are fixed, all parents are required to pay their regular fees for Statutory/Civic Holidays and we cannot give refunds for days absent due to illness. Families will not be given refunds for circumstances that are out of our control including but not limited to labour disruptions, inclement weather, electrical/heating outages etc.

Childcare fees are tax deductible. Tax receipts are available at the end of February. Families who are currently using care at this time will pick up their receipts at their centre. Families who have terminated need to call head office @ 705-726-3770 and give direction as to whether you want them mailed or you wish to pick them up at our head office location.
